It is and it isn't
As an example (1) using my regular browser 'Brave' and the images do not show. (2) Using an ancient 'Quartz' browser and Images show. There is probably a setting somewhere, but I do not know....try a differnt web browser.
It is not only the images, I go to download the plugin (see earlier post) and the download link does not work, so I either delve into the html to find the link or use a different browser.
