Replacing colors including blurs
#4
It might help if you post the xcf. You have 11 layers there and how you proceed will depend on what is there.

Question: Do you want the blur to reflect the new colour?

If so, you might still be better starting from scratch.

Have stars and blurs on separate layers.

Paint/create from selection/path the star 100% opacity.
Draw a nice rounded selection, following the star shape, then apply a featherSelect -> Feather to the selection. screenshot https://i.imgur.com/22iW8a8.jpg

Fill the selection, turn off the selection Select -> None and reduce the layer opacity a suitable amount. screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/91bhnj5.jpg

How you proceed after that, depends on how keen you are. For individual layers, easy to change colours by locking the alpha for each layer and filling with new colour. example: https://i.imgur.com/XjI5jYg.jpg
