Animation Spinning Globe

I have made two spinning globe images, one spinning left to right, the other right to left

I have exported as Gif Files with "loop forever" selected 

The right to left image rotated forever as requested.
The left to right image rotates once and then stops

I have checked the settings and re-created the gif files several times to make sure I have the settings correct

I would  appreciate knowing if anyone has solved this issue
