The choice algorithm=0 is best in that (1) it should be rather accurate, and (2) the number of control points should be low.

Thanks to the information given in post #1 I was able to envision a viable alternative.

After obtaining the result using the = 4 (default) algorithm and knowing that with the = 0 algorithm I should have a better quality at the expense of greater slowness, I tried this option and voilà.


Note: At least in this case, the slowness was not that great.
