Ok, how do I do this?
- You open the Channels tab, right click the Green channel, and Channel to selection. This creates a "soft" selection where pixels are selected in proportion to their Green content(*). An alternative is the "By Color select" tool and and set Select by: Green (instead of the default Select by: Composite) but this creates a "hard" selection.
- Then Colors > Hue-Chroma and reduce the Chroma
(*) The advantage of these soft/proportional selections is that they don't cause visible edges between changed areas and the rest.
