You can set the resolution, image-by-image, as Ofnuts pointed out using Image -> Print Size, it just sets the ppi, otherwise keeps the image as-is. Then you need to Save https://i.imgur.com/x4mEsA1.jpg

I was wondering if you had maybe a few hundred to convert, I do not know of anything so far, can do it with BIMP but seems to lose some layers for some reason.
