like this, an example, how to merge his face at the edge with the side of the monkey so that their skin color is more gradual rather than this now? I don't need professional work, just not looking as bad as now is fine. Thanks

Not exactly what you are looking for. For minor blends I use Gaussian Blur in the filters drop down menu. First I trace the area to blend with Free Select and then apply the the blur. Varying the width of the range you want to blend/blur and the amount of blur has different results.

It's so painful... Where is the problem? Please see the attached screen

Only painful for us
You have a floating selection layer. Make it a full layer Layer -> To New Layer (shift -ctrl-n)

Just use the eraser with a soft brush (you can in addition lower the tool opacity).

To be fair it is very quick. (between 46 and 51 seconds in the video) You do not need to make a full layer, just make that floating selection a regular layer. If you looked at my video you would see that instead of a Copy -> Paste I used a Copy -> Paste as -> New layer Quote:btw, what is floating selection layer? what is full layer? This is the difference: This is what you need for the gmic blend Quote:Well.. In the meanwhile, looks like the eraser works now, but why the edge still has a big color difference after applying "Curves"? Do you really need to use the curves tool? If not sure how Curves works do not use it. The gmic blend will adjust the colours to a certain extent it might be enough for your purpose. ..and after a little touch up |
