How can I tweak a wide image and have it black and white on the left side and have it gradually be colorful and become full color on the right side?

01- Duplicate the initial layer.
02- Desaturate the copy (top layer).
03- Apply a mask on this layer.
04 - With the Gradient Tool and the mask selected, with the colors white for foreground and black for background, draw a horizontal line. Adjust to the desired result.
