The setting is 120 minutes. As far as I know that has not changed. (edit: Oh... according to earlier posts it was 24 hours. Wait for an Ofnuts reply)
Is there any post you want deleting so you can post again ?

No, thank you. Just wanted to do a small edit. Does not matter really.

That 120 minutes is rather little but perhaps we just must live with it?

This is done to prevent people asking questions, getting an answer, and then erasing their question. The MyBB software allows us to restore a post that has been deleted by its author, but there is no editing history so one could empty the post instead.
