I investigated - If they did win they would be 'invited' to host next year Australia would not be allowed to host it in the Southern Hemisphere. They would have to partner with a European country to host it. Easier to make sure Australia never wins.Hosting the FIFA World Cup is a lot more complicated - more votes and kickbacks I would say
