#1
I've tried just about every thing.  Single pane view, undockable dialogue box and I still get this:

Please help. Thank you.

Solved; uninstall GIMP 2.10.20; reinstall GIMP 2.10.12.

In Gimp 2.10.20 the tools are in groups, easy to change a tool, click and get a menu, or hover over and scroll with a mouse scroll wheel.

However, you can revert back to separate tool icons from Edit -> Preferences In the toolbox section untick use tool groups.

Thanks, rich. I also noticed that GIMP 2.10.12 runs faster than 2.10.20. Maybe my laptop isn't powerful enough to handle 2.10.20?

No real difference between the two. Have you got a specific example?

All I can say is that 2.10.12 runs much faster (files load and export quicker) and my complete toolbox is intact.

Ahhh...you make me despair Wink

What is wrong with this https://i.imgur.com/rqlQTIh.mp4

Speed ? The only reports I have seen is this: https://discuss.pixls.us/t/gimp-2-10-20-...owly/19331 and this: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/issues/5421

You seem to be in a small group, it might well be a rare hardware issue.
