How to make an outline of the inner parts of the letter "B" ?
#1
So I know how to make an outline on the outside of objects and text, but how do I do this in the inner areas of text?
For instance , take the letter "B".

Also, how do i remove this irritating "Tool options" tab from the left hand corner of Gimp? It's blocking things in that area of my screen.

Thanks!

So, the usual way is create a path from the text. With the text layer active Layer -> Text to Path
Make a new layer under the text and stroke the path Edit -> Stroke Path with the FG colour as required.

I got it removed from my OSX VM this way

but others said that does not work...worked for me.
