JPG settings in Gimp

The first image shows your default JPEG export settings, they would be the same for any image you load (even if not a JPEG). You can change them with the "Save defaults" button ("Enregistrer défauts" for you).

The second image is indeed telling the JPEG quality of the JPEG image you opened in Gimp.

not at all.........despite indeed default jpg files are "quality 90, etc....." here (1rst picture of previous) are the specific settings of the image I opened for exemple. By opening another picture, I have that
