Not a Saturn V...

...but another Rocket - On exhibition.

Terrible lighting, uninspiring surroundings, but I do like the rivets.

There is a steam engine museum in Newcastle?

There is a whole floor in the London Science Museum that can be described as "steam engine porn". Fascinating thing. Of course this is pure "the British invented the steam engine" propaganda while in reality it was the French Smile

There is a science museum of sorts, was great when I was a youngster, unfortunately moved to a new building and became 'politically correct'. The Rocket is on loan. They put it next to a bright yellow wall which casts a yellow sheen over, wonderful.

Same problem at home, I'm planning to use one of the rooms as a den but the walls are painted in some terra cotta red. My wife wonders why I like light grey so much Smile I will pick up the paint after taking pictures of samples with a color chart.

PS: What is a "politically incorrect" science museum?

What I find surprisingly avant-garde is the wheels. They could have been the hardest part to do at the time.
