Notifications going straight to spam
#1
For a long time now any email notifications from Gimp-Forum.net have gone straight to the on-line spam folder (not the one in Thunderbird) of my yahoo.co.uk email. This afternoon I thought I would change the email address used by Gimp-Forum.net to a talktalk.net account - this also goes straight to the on-line spam folder  Sad

Is this forum (or its host) blacklisted by all email providers? (not that I will be able to see any responses unless I look here or log-in to webmail to check the spam folder  Big Grin)

Is there nothing that can be done to fix this?

I have done everything by the book (DKIM and all that sort of things). I do get the Gimp-Forum notifications in my standard mailbox, on my usual account and on the admin mail account (both by the same provider...). But at the same time, notifications from the Gimp-Forum cloud provider go to the spam folder. So spam criteria are quite random. Otherwise, we have a fairly decent reputation on SpamHaus...

@Ofnuts - I wasn't suggesting that you had done anything wrong - it's just frustrating that organizations like Yahoo and TalkTalk won't take note when I mark messages in the on-line spam folder as not spam. If they offered a way of whitelisting addresses it could fix the problem - but I suppose with Yahoo being a free service you get what you pay for!
