Only Basic brushes, others greyed out
#1
Since the last couple of days, possibly after 2.10.22 update, only the " Basic " set of brushes are visible. Others are there in the .config folder and they are set properly under folder path. But only " Basic " set it visible / selectable. Others are greyed out. I haven't touched any settings in a while. Any help on this will be awesome. Thanks.

Never seen any 'greyed out' - can you give a screenshot of that ?

What do the brush filters show. In my Gimp 2.10.22 (appimage)
(1) is everything.
(2) my own brushes that I keep in a folder called 'brush'
(3) one of those brushes has a tag added 'basic', which leaves just the single brush.

Try deleting the file in your Gimp profile ~/.config/GIMP(-AppImage)/2.10/tags.xml
Restart Gimp. It will make a new default set of tags based on folders.
