Why is Gimp layout in gray colors and can I change it?
#1
Hallo all,

The current GIMP version has a layout in gray colors. The old versions was in color. Is it possible to change the newer version also in color? For more clarity see attachments.

Thanks in advance for the person who can help me.

Regards,

Ferry

That looks like you might have a new computer maybe with a 4k monitor and a very customised layout

You might / might-not want to start from scratch: All of these in Edit -> Preferences

Reset all the windows to default: https://i.imgur.com/aGM8ooc.jpg

Reset the tool options: https://i.imgur.com/V9xr5NQ.jpg

Then to change the dark to a lighter model https://i.imgur.com/IGpgmST.jpg

Coloured icons are still there: https://i.imgur.com/PN7yFgF.jpg

..and if you want to increase the size of the menu fonts

also a plugin to make that easier http://gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t...10#p261235
