Path connection is curved with a circle, any way to make it straight?

Thanks. The only thing is it deleted the anchor entirely instead of turning it into a normal anchor, which is a filled circle not that ring one. Is it possible to convert it? Not a big deal if not but jw

You should really look at the links Blighty posted. The path is defined by anchors (circles) and tangents (squares). The path goes through the anchors, and the tangents determine how round things are. There are always tangents, but if they are positioned exactly on the anchor they have no effect (straight line out of the anchor). When you remove a tangent by Ctrl-Shift-Click, it is not really removed but positioned on the anchor. So where the anchor is you see a circle (the anchor) with a square on top of it (the tangent(s)).
