Tool options not remembered?

It has changed slightly from Gimp 2.8 one more hurdle to jump in 2.10

Get everything the way you want it.

In Edit -> Preferences -> Tool Options As well as:
untick Save tool options on exit
and click Save Tool options Now

Also required in Edit -> Preferences -> Input Devices (down at the bottom of the list)
untick Save input device settings on exit
and click Save Input Device Settings Now

OK and restart Gimp to check.
Seem to recall someone have problems with FG/BG tool icons. You might have to do a tool options reset.
