I pressed enter and the editable nodes showed up! I have used free select many times and have never seen them. I used bucket fill with the selection as I have done many times before. Then I noticed where I wanted to make a small correction. I undid to only display the selection but the nodes were not there. Is there a way to recover the editable nodes?
