Where did you get your version of resynthesizer plugin ? It might be an old version that does not work with Gimp 2.10

Go here:
https://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-Resynt...7#pid12687   and download resynth-partha.zip

Remove the existing resynthesizer plugins, unzip the download and put resynthesizer.exe resynthesizer-gui and the two python plugins in C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins

I removed the existing resynth. plugins, unzipped resynth-partha.zip, and copied the files into the destination. I got the same error!

Difficult to diagnose when unable to duplicate the error

The 4 files in Gimp 2.10.22 / Win10: https://i.imgur.com/GZZKoaP.jpg

The plugin working: https://i.imgur.com/EuAmLVG.jpg

Might be something as simple as your selection.

Rich,

I have been using Heal Selection successfully for years. The current problem started after I reloaded both Windows 10 and GIMP.

If it is a brand new Windows and a brand new Gimp 2.10 there should be little to go wrong.

You could try deleting the C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\pluginrc file . Restart Gimp and let it rescan your plugins, bit of a long shot. Otherwise don't know.

I deleted the pluginrc file then restarted Gimp. No change.
Thank you for trying Rich.

Hi Rich,

Just to let you know, when instead of installing the Resynthesizer files in C:\Users....., I  installing the files in    C:\Program files\Gimp2\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins  it worked! Thank you for trying.
