something like a bug, not really, but annoying

There might be somewhere in the code to get rid of the gap. I have it too in 3.0.4....Not in 2.10.38
Rich or ofnuts may know otherwise you may have to ask at GitHub or Gnome ![]()
Using kubuntu 24.04 / Gimp 3.0.4 and the same in Gimp 2.10
You can put in a feature request to the Gimp devs but probably a GTK thing and not possible. The modes window is the height of the display and initially the amount of padding depends on the position of the layers dock. Once you scroll down, then the padding is lost. Edit: guessed there is some mitigation. Use the pageup / pagedown keys to jump through the list.

But im not sure is something not possible, look this screenshot, is from the rectangle tool options, it appear to be the same kind of options box, and it works as expected:

I think difference between a tool dialogue and a dock - but I might be wrong.
Sign up and ask the developers https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/issues

Well, i reported here, hope someone can read. Even that, is not something to worry too much about.

That is interesting, If that is from lubuntu using the 'buntu repo then it is probably Inkscape version 1.2 I can recommend an more up-to-date version (1.4) using an appimage, look for one here bottom of the list : https://inkscape.org/release/all/gnulinux/appimage/ For the various modes looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/4MIV08h.mp4 |
