Hi guys,

I am really struggling to get rid of the yellowish tint across this scanned image - seen as vertical bars going through different areas. I was trying to use Fuzzy select tool, Free select tool + all options under Colors (Temperature, Curves...) but I need more knowledge. What is the way to sort of replace certain color spectrum (in this case yellowish pixels) whilst not affecting the other parts of the color spectrum - I mean so that I do not end up with areas contrasting with the rest of the image. Basically how to get rid of the yellowish part of the color space in those vertical bars and no more?

Has anyone used this extension on a Chromebook? I am now doing remote teaching and my students have Chromebooks at home. The app has a very narrow canvas window. If I make the toolbox and layers panel visible we don't see much of the canvas. Any solutions? Thanks.

I have discovered that in the most current download - 2.10.14 version - for Mac OS - many of the Fonts are no longer available as they were in the former versions.  For example Mistral and Curlz MT, which in particular I used often in the past, are showing strange symbols instead of the appropriate lettering in the text tool listing and in text boxes I create on images.  Can these Fonts be recovered and if so how can I do that?  Thank you for your kind attention and response regarding this disconcerting snafu. 

I have a .png file, of a white t-shirt, with background removed. I have opened another image into Gimp, a jpg, and want to put this as a new layer on the t-shirt. The problem is, when I do, the new layer is greyscale. I've done it before, and it's been ok, I just don't know what's happening, or how to resolve it. The original jpg is in colour, it's only when I paste it into the t-shirt png, that it goes wrong. I've noticed that the forground colour on the t-shirt, has a pink triangle in the top left corner?

Hi, I have an XCF that looks right while viewing, and comes out okay as a JPG, but when I export PDF, some layers look very wrong.  I have a drop shadow and two "soft light" mode layers, and one or all of them are coming out as an ugly flat brown color instead of the shadow/texture I see while editing.

This is on 2.1.  I was using an older version to author the file, but PDF export started *crashing* there, so I upgraded to 2.1 today.  That exports, but has this bad artifact.

The problem is the "bird" image inside the necklace.  It comes out flat brown.

And I export with "Apply layer masks before saving" plus "convert bitmaps to vector graphics" plus "omit hidden layers" checked.

I've created a new layer filled  with Transparency. Made it active by clicking on it.
Go to the Rectangle Select tool. Draw a rectangle on the canvas.
As soon as I click on any other tool in the Toolbox the rectangle I drew disappears off the canvas.
I've created the rectangle with all of the Modes. Same results.

What didn't I do?

when you follow the link "Applications". Better delete the old ones (they are copies of the new ones and will not be updated). In Gimp's menu the path is now a little different:

Image/Render/Parametric curves/Special curves.

If you have any problems with the plugins, please tell me. Or any questions, or suggestions. It is great fun to create such beautiful curves but I have run out of ideas. The plugin Parametric curves is a general tool but requires some mathematics and some programming, so if there is any need for some special curve, I'd be happy to try to make a specialized plugin. Just ask.

Hi all, I am pretty new to GIMP however wanted to make panorama with pandora. I put that script to both folders and wanted to refresh by Script-Fu as manual says. But there is some error in gimp or all the scripts (idk) as you can see on the screenshot. Could anyone help me please fix that?

I just now installed the English language manual for GIMP 2.10.  After I downloaded and installed the manual, I restarted my desktop PC (Windows 10).

However, the pages of the manual display as blank pages when I open it inside GIMP.  Attached is a screenshot to show what I am talking about.

What do I need to do, to fix this?  Thank you for any help.
