Change Layer Color |

I'm using 2.10.4 on a Windows 10 machine, trying to do colorizations of old photographs. Is there a way I can change the color I have set for a layer without either deleting & recreating or erasing & redoing it? Lets say I've made a layer and colored a shirt blue. That's the only thing on that layer, is there a way I can easily change it to another color? I thought I would be able to go into the color itself & change the RGB settings, but I can't see a way.
Hope this is clear! Thanks in advance!

How to use GIMP 2.10 tutorial for beginners
Found the above in Youtube. Excellent tutorial for beginners.
3rd lesson on preference is an eye opener for me. Now I dont have to use the slider to change the tool size. Can now use the mouse scroll instead!
One good way to jump start in learning GIMP via that tutorial.
Enjoy!

Transparent Background Troubles |

I am using GIMP 2.10.4. I am trying to create a logo with a transparent background and I think that I know how to make the background transparent, but after I do, I can't draw on it. I can draw if I don't try and make it transparent. This is what I have been doing to make it transparent:
First, I open a new window. Then I go to "File" and select "New" from the menu. In the "create a new image" box, click the arrow next to "px" and select inches from the drop down menu. I enter my desired print size next to "width" and "height" and select "ok".
Then I go over to the right side of the window where the layer is listed and I right click on the black square with the word "background" next to it. I select "Edit later attributes", I set the opacity to zero, and I select ok.
After I do all this, I try to draw a line, and I can't.
Please help!

How to increase tool icons size and with colors |

New to GIMP. Started with 2.8 last year, just upgraded to 2.10.4 today.
I have tried to increase the tool icons size by checking the preferences etc. No luck. Annoying when the icons are so small.
Noted in 2.10.4, the icons are not colored anymore. How can I bring back the colored icons? Easier to pick the right icons when they are in colors.
Many thanks.

Hi there everyone,
Is it possible to make a circle using the elillpse tool then make a line to were you cut of the bottom bit and have the remaining top bit so you can use that nice curve to use as a path and put text on it..
Otherwise you got to play around manually with the path tool to create such a shape..
Thanks for viewing..

Run Wacom script on Ubuntu startup |

I'm very new to Linux, running Ubuntu 18.04, mainly for graphics applications and, having installed and mainly got working a Wacom Tablet, now need to run the terminal line: xsetwacom --set "Wacom Intuos4 WL Pen stylus" area 1000 1000 20320 12700 each time I return to Ubuntu. It's running in VMware and I'm constantly flipping into and out of it.
As, when I enter the command it only sticks until I flip out and then back into Ubuntu, is there a way of automatically running the terminal line each time it's necessary?
Many thanks
