I'm used to seeing marching ants around what I select. Now I don't see anything even though it's selected. Show selection is ticked.

Hi all, first post here nice to meet you all, have a question for you.

I received some comic book pencils back from an artist and they are detailed and super complete looking. My question is can someone point me in the direction of a parameter to adjust to turn the pencils to black linework!?? I know this wouldn't be perfect as traditional comic inking by any shot, but is there something someone can think of, probably within the colors section? to adjust to darken the pencil linework to black? 
I am screentoning the daylights out of the artwork afterwards but the pencil work is so complete and detailed that I think it would be a shame to traditionally ink over all the details, so hoping someone can aim me in the direction to darken the pencils to black, thanks!!!!

I have a  disordered sprite sheet which includes many sprites and i need only 4 of them, the size of the sprites are 18x16 px., i have created a new image (72x16) how can i copy 4 of those sprites in there?

Is it possible in Gimp?
Which tool i need to choose?

If I draw with the pencil tool, and the hardest brush setting (100), I get no anti-aliasing, and the fill bucket leaves no halos, perfect.

If I erase part of that drawing with the eraser, even with the hardest brush setting, the edge is always anti-aliased, and the fill bucket will leave halos behind when filling in those erased areas.

How can I turn off anti-aliasing for the eraser?

I have used the pencil function for years. However, it no longer works. It does the same thing as the eraser function

I use a scanned B&W image in Gimp. I use bucket fill to fill the white spaces. What are the best settings for Bucket Fill if I want to best preserve the black border lines in the scanned image? Currently, the border lines seem to get lighter when I use the bucket fill and I don't like the looks. My settings were where I wanted them in a previous version of Gimp, but I had to upgrade to 2.10 and I don't remember the settings I had. I typically filled with a 90.0 threshold. Thank you!

Heal selection causes plug-in to crash with Error Message:  "An error occurred running python_fu_heal_selection". 

I am using GIMP v. 2.10.22, Windows 10, 64 bit, Resynthesizer for Windows 64 bit.

Can anybody help please!!!

I downloaded gimp 2.8.22. As a new user of gimp, running peppermint 8 (linux/ubuntu) which uses chrome as its default browser. 
When I go to the help section I am redirected to google drive? Have not got a clue for this? Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Is there any way to delete all channels at once? Or to delete the selected channels all at once?

I recently installed a plug-in and as an indirect result of its main function (Create luminosity Masks) it creates several channels in this process.

A created mask ends up producing about 6 channels.
If I apply the plug-in again to get another mask, or others, new channels are created in addition to the ones that already existed.

With three masks created I had 24 channels.

There was a moment when I already had 71 channels created, none of them being necessary, since in the process the masks are created in the layers windows.

I could not delete the channels at once. I don't know how or if it's possible to do that.
